Story about owner:

Our story began in 2015 when my spouse and I traveled to Ganh Da Dia, and we immediately fell in love with this place. The long, flat, white sandy beach, clear blue water, gentle waves, and extreme tranquility captured our hearts. We then purchased a small piece of land with the desire to have a place to retreat to in our old age. Perhaps Da Dia Reef Homestay wouldn’t exist today if it weren’t for the Covid-19 pandemic. When the pandemic hit, our children were all on break, so we needed a place to stay and take care of the kids because it was very difficult for both of us to take care of our four children in the city. So the whole family decided to move from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Dia for temporary residence for three months. We together renovated the house, which was over 35 years old. I personally chopped down every tree and cleared the bushes around the house. So the kids had a place to stay, play on the sand, and swim in the sea every day. This can be said to be a paradise, with the sea in front, rice fields behind, and mountains nearby. The area is extremely peaceful, with no tourist footprints, enjoying the life of coastal fishermen. After the pandemic, we had to return to the bustling city life. To continue maintaining this place and sharing it with everyone. Live a true life.

Our homestay is Da Dia Reef Homestay, located near Ganh Da Dia, just a 5-minute walk along the beach. From our house, you can easily see Ganh Da Dia, and vice versa. From Ganh Da Dia, you will see a long white sandy beach and the only house on the beach, which is ours. If you’re looking for a professionally serviced accommodation, then ours might not be the right place for you! But if you’re looking for a space close to nature, with the sea in front and rice fields behind, if you want to experience the daily life of coastal villagers, eat rustic countryside dishes, and sleep in a house that’s over 35 years old, then ours is the place for you. In our house, you won’t be able to sleep in because you’ll be busy admiring the sunrise right in front of the house. You won’t be able to resist swimming because the sea is so clear and the beach is so deserted with really long stretches of sand. In the summer, even 50 meters from the shore, the water only reaches your neck, and you can see your big toe. In our house, you’ll have to walk a lot because around us, there’s Ganh Da Dia, Ganh Rong, then the rural market, Wooden Bridge, Ganh Den lighthouse, Mang Lang church, Phu Luong mountain, Thon 7 Long Beach, O Loan Lagoon, Mai Nha Islet, etc.
